NEW HAMPSHIRE WOLFEITE, XANTHOXENITE, WHITLOCKITR 693 indistinct veinlets containing chlorite, sphalerite, pyrite and arsenopyrite. Several months later further operations in the quarry exposed another large triphylite crystal that had been partly reworked hydrothermally into a granular aggregate composed of residual triphylite, siderite, qu tz, apatite, plagioclase, ludlamite and abundant columnarfibrous massesof a dark clove-brown mineral. The latter mineral was f ound by the writer to afiord an n-ray powder pattern identical with that of triploidite, but with smaller cell dimensions, and the indices of refraction proved to be considerably higher than those of the Branchville triploidite. These facts, together with the occurrence of the mineral as an alteration product of triphylite, rather than of lithiophilite as at Branchville, suggestedthat the material was the iron analogue of triploidite. A satisfactory analysis sample could not be obtained from this material by any reasonableeffort due to admixture. An examination of the reddish-brown granular mineral mentioned above, however, proved it to be identical with the dark clove-brown mineral at hand, although with slightly lower indices of refraction, and an analysis sample was obtained therefrom without difficultv. The analysis, cited in Column 7 of Table 1, proves that the mineral is in fact thb iron analogue of triploidite. or. Amar, vsns Tnrplomrrr-Wor-lrrm Tasln 1. Cnnltrcer.
Search the north area of Saudi Arabia, the same area where the US Naval Medical committee did the assessment trial, its astonishing that a group of Saudi scientist, from the department of Zoology, college of science, king Saud University, conducted a surveys involving Acari; Ixodidae, infesting domestic, animals, and these ticks proven to be efficient hosts, for many arboviruses, such as Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic fever, Kadam virus, Thogoto virus, Wanowrie virus, these viruses have been isolated in Saudi Arabia, according to Hoogstraal 1973, William et at 1973, Darwish and Hoogstraal 1981. Further more livestock's imported from Africa to be slaughtered in pilgrims season, were proved to harbor infectious agents hazardous to human, and animal health, and spread many infectious diseases in Saudi Arabia, a recent research suggest that Dengue virus is endemic in the Kingdome, and is spreading toward the north. The results of this research indicated; The existence of many vectors to Arboviruses US. Naval, research evidence of circulating Arboviruses in the area Saudi research committee obscure multi symptoms presume unknown course of disease; and previous medical history of such infections in military USA campaign in many parts of the world. Conclusion: Arboviruses could be recognized as an etiological agent of the Gulf War Syndrome. ISE.182 Concurrent Nasopharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Lymphoproliferative Disorder During HIV Infection. Possible Pathogenetic Interactions Among Retroviral Infection, Epstein-barr Virus EBV ; Infection, and Inhalatory Cocaine Abuse R. Manfredi1, S. Sabbatani1, U. Gianelli2, F. Chiodo1. 1Infectious Diseases, University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy; 2Department of Pathology, University of Milan, S. Paolo Hospital, Milan, Italy Background: Only two human cells types allow the replication of EBV: they are B-lymphocytes and squamous epithelium. Burkitt lymphoma recognizes a pathogenetic role for both EBV, and multiple co-factors, influenced by geographic issues, too.The nasopharyngeal carcinoma predominates in South-Eastern Asia where the exposure to some inhalants i.e. phenoles ; seems more frequent, but antibodies against the early EBV antigen VCA are commonly found, as well as the isolation of EBV genomic sequences from neoplastic cells. The staging of rhinopharyngeal carcinoma also includes a poorly differentiated variety with a prominent lymphoid infiltrate, which may raise the suspect of an extranodal lymphoma, although the resident T-cells are not malignant. During HIV disease, malignant lymphomas and EBV-associated lymphoproliferative disorders prove more frequent than in the general population, but nasopharingeal carcinoma remains an extremely infrequent occurrence, with only anecdotal cases reported. Case Report: Our patient, HIV-infected for 20 years and with a long history of inhalatory cocaine abuse, 18 months ago developed a remarkable laterocervical lymphadenopathy, whose histopathologic study disclosed a polymorphic EBV-associated B-cell lymphoproliferative disorder. A TC scan concurrently showed a right nasopharyngeal mass, and detected multiple cervical, axillary, and ilar-mediastinal lymphadenopathies. A biopsy of rhinopharingeal lesion disclosed a poorly differentiated squamous carcinoma, also EBV-positive at biomolecular testing. A cytotoxic chemotherapy was performed with ten consecutive cycles of associated with HAART, which achieved disease remission. A CT re-staging performed four months later showed sparse parapharyngeal and paravertebral infiltrates, so that the suspected recurrence prompted a still ongoing radiotherapy course, while the immune recovery was not attained, as expressed by a CD4 + count of 83 cells L, despite HIV virologic control. Conclusions: Our patient suffered from two distinct malignant and pre.

Samples averaged about 98 and 104% respectively, and nearly all of this radioactivity 90-100% ; was 14 due to [ C]thiabendazole; no other residue was found. Mobility. To quantify the sorption of [14C]thiabendazole to soil, batch equilibrium studies were conducted with silt loam, clay, sandy loam and sandy soils Dykes, 1989 ; . The adsorption Koc values ranged from 1, 104 to 22, 467, indicating that thiabendazole binds very tightly to soil, and desorption was correspondingly low with Koc values from about 1, 336 to 18, 325. On the basis of the high Koc values 1, 000 ; thiabendazole is considered to be immobile in soil. Results from soil column leaching studies conducted by the WARF Institute 1976 ; also demonstrated that thiabendazole is immobile in soil under simulated conditions of either rapid gravity-controlled ; or slow 1.25 cm day for 45 days ; leaching. In another leaching study Aharonson and Kafkafi, 1975 ; , it was further demonstrated that thiabendazole is practically immobile in soil even under conditions simulating the passage of 1, 000 mm of rain water through a soil column. Results from leaching studies with aged residues WARF Institute, 1978 ; demonstrated that both aerobically and photolytically aged thiabendazole residues are immobile in soil. In these studies, with about 10 physico-chemically different soils more than 98% of the recovered radioactive residues remained in the top 2.5-cm layer of the soils. The results of these batch equilibrium and leaching studies show that thiabendazole residues can be classified as being immobile in soil under both laboratory and field conditions. Pesticides that are immobile in soil are considered unlikely to leach into groundwater or travel in run-off water into streams and lakes Kenaga, 1980 and thiamin.
Operation will be consolidated. Provisions for the costs for the vacant premises have been made against the capital gains. The purchase net amount for the sale of Paradiset AB in 2004 was SEK 266 million, with capital gain amounting to SEK 193 million. Biovitrum has entered into a leasing agreement for the premises that expires in 2019. The decisive factor for the classification of a leasing agreement is the extent to which the economic risks and benefits associated with ownership of the leasing object are retained by the lesser or transferred to the lessee. As regards properties, an assessment of the leasing agreement will be made concerning both buildings and land. Biovitrum bases its position primarily on the fact that the current value of minimum leasing charges do not comprise a significant portion of the fair value of the property and that there is generally no significant indication that a financial leasing agreement exists. As the leasing agreement is considered to be operational, the profit attributable to the sale of the property is reported immediately. Note 17 Remuneration and Reimbursement paid to Auditors!

Abstract: Wounds considered for enzymatic debridement encompass a variety of fluid content, microbial flora, pharmaceutical treatment, and pH conditions that may affect the efficacy of an enzymatic debriding agent. Development of products for use as debriding agents or for use in conjunction with debriding agents requires a quantitative procedure to rapidly evaluate different product formulations for their optimal effects on debridement efficacy under a variety of tissue conditions that cannot be controlled adequately when conducting invivo clinical evaluations. A new, quantitative, in-vitro method to evaluate the action of enzymatic debriding agents uses porcine skin and muscle tissue as substrates. The method utilizes an automated Franz-type in-vitro diffusion cell system for controlled exposure of tissues to debriding agents and sample collection for quantitative analysis of enzymatic digestion product release; e.g., protein, peptides, and amino acids. This article describes 1 ; setup and operation of the system; and 2 ; the practical use of the method as demonstrated by its ability to rapidly assess quantitative differences in the action of different enzymatic debriding agent formulations on nonviable skin tissue. FIG.13. Estimation by liquid scintillation counting of hybridized angiotensinogen mRNA obtained by either liquid or dot blot hybridization from RNA preparations of isolated nuclei. For dot blot hybridization a nitrocellulose-cross-linked cold cDNA lefl p a n and for liquid hybridization a cold cRNA rizht panel ; was used. For dot blot analysis, the cDNA was incubated in the presence of labeled RNA and, following an RNase digest, the hybridized radioactivity was determined by liquid scintillation counting. Following liquid hybridization, hybrids were isolated by RNase digestion, trichloroacetic acid precipitation, and filtration over a nitrocellulose membrane for details see "Experimental Procedures" ; . The figure illustrates the hybridization signalsfor three different amountsof total RNA applied and thiothixene.

Data or these lambs were reported under the D breed group in table 1. Ram and ewe lambs were grazed on separate contaminated pastures from July 12 to September 20 70 days ; . Barbados Blackbelly B ; , D and D B ewe., were compared in trial 4. Each breed group consisted of 18 mature, nongravid, ewes. All animals were treated with thiabendazole on April 10 and grazed together until July 17 98 days ; . Parasite ova were not stratified in this trial. The efficacy of the anthelmintics administered in Exp. I was attested to by the fact that parasite ova were not found in the feces in any trial until at least 21 days after treatment. Exp. II consisted of two trials in which 8 month-old lambs were treated with anthelmin. tics and were reinfected with standard number., of larvae. Animals were maintained on concrete throughout the experiment. Breed groups were compared on the basis of 1 ; final EPG levels~ 2 ; numbers of parasites recovered from the digestive tract, and 3 ; eggs produced per para. site recovered final EPG levels + numbers oi parasites recovered ; . Four D and four D B ram lambs trial 1'~ were treated with levamisole hydrochloride 6 on October 4 and with thiabendazole on October 11. After 22 days of negative fecal egg counts November 2 ; , each animal was ad. ministered approximately 60, 000 infective larvae 3, 600 H. contortus; 29, 700 Cooperia spp; 24, 000 Tricbostrongylus spp and 2, 70 3 Ostertagia spp ; . Larvae were produced by coprocuhure using sterilized peat moss and vermiculite as culture media. They were harvested by the Baermann technique Todd et al., 1970 ; and were administered by stomach tube. Data on EPG levels by parasite groups were obtained as described for Exp. I. Rams were slaughtered after the final fecal collection on December 20 48 days after infection ; and parasites in the abomasum, small intestine and large intestine were collected by washing the contents of each section through a series of 850, 425, 250 and 10 gm screens. Parasites recovered from the screens were counted, identified and stratified as to HO group, CTO group and NEM and tipranavir.
